No... Just Around the Corner from Sandy and Kenny Oliver is the Buck Owens' Crystal Palace. When we were in Bakersfield, RV Buddies did spend some time at Buck Owens' Crystal Palace which was conveniently close to Sandy and Kenny Oliver's home. And we were far from the Buckaroos - except for those few moments when they generously shared their stage with us and let us embarrass ourselves worse than in a karaoke bar!

All that aside - a good time was had by all and the community embraced us with open arms. In hindsight, we had better have some cowboy hats for our next visit! We shot a lot of video, which is in editing right now. In fact, the location is a full-on tourist attraction which honors the late Buck Owens. There is a lot of priceless memorobelia and history within these walls.

If you find yourselves driving through central California - this is a must stop. Do check in advance - besides the world famous Buckaroos, they often have famous celebrities performing on stage. Stay tuned to RV Buddies for more information about the upcoming video segment.
